Erika & Elliot got in touch having seen previous Micklefield Hall weddings I had filmed and loved my documentary style and approach (their words). Having never filmed a Jewish wedding I was so grateful that they put their trust in me to film this momentous occasion for them.

In true England fashion at the height of Summer we were due a storm, potentially ruining plans for an outdoor ceremony but despite the risk Elliot made the decision to push on with it - my footage of the florist decorating the chuppah in raincoats and wellies in July didn’t make the cut for the film but was a notable memory for me. However, we had a rain free ceremony and rest of the evening.

Spending the day with these two families was an absolute blast for me. We had a confetti shower only dreams are made of, joyous Israeli dancing, and emotional speeches with the absence of Elliot’s brother but partied hard in his memory with one the best bands I’ve seen Sol & the Gang.
