Anna & Ryan’s May Secret Garden Wedding

It’s weird how things come about, Anna got in touch after one of her three sisters found me on Instagram. Many miles away down in Kent these guys were planning a lovely late Spring wedding at The Secret Gardens in Kent. Little did we know the Best Man was also from Hitchin, what a small world…

They really wanted an unobtrusive documentary wedding videographer to spend the day with them. This complimented me perfectly and so we moved on to discussing their outdoor ceremony plans and garden party drinks reception with a 3-piece Jazz band. With Ryan playing in a band, I knew they’d loved their music but I didn’t expect how deep routed it would be with Anna singing and her dad composing for the Church. No pressure to pick the right songs Dave!!

A Glimpse of the Day
Having spent the day with these guys it was clear they had a real close family bond with Anna’s parents and 3 sisters. When starting out with this teaser I knew it would be based around Anna’s sisters and Maid of Honours speech, as this told so much about their story as a couple.

This is the full wedding film — candid, story-driven, and carefully edited to reflect the essence of Anna & Ryan’s celebration. A keepsake they’ll revisit for a lifetime.

Every couple have a bespoke story, you are your own people shaped by many life factors. This filters into how I believe despite following similar structures every wedding has a unique story, and I’m always honoured to be trusted with telling it.
